Glow Bug Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway

I am excited to bring you all another diaper review!  This one however is different because I will be including Canadians in my giveaway!  Yay!  I did receive one Glow Bug diaper for exchange of my honest opinion for this review.

Just a little information about Glow Bug diapers.  The company was started by two moms Sarah Downey and Neta Talmor.  They had the same interest in using diapers that were good quality and affordable and weren't finding them out there so they started their own company.  It is named Glow Bug after Sarah's daughters nick name "Glow Bug" and they thought the cloth diaper looks like a little bug on the tush!

For my review I requested a gender neutral diaper and received this one:

The print is cute but I do find it a bit boyish that's just my opinion!  Ok for the good stuff!

What I like about Glow Bug diapers:

-Three rows of snap downs as pictured above (We have ours on the second one for little girl.  She weighs probably about 22 pounds and is 20 months old)

-They feature a 360° Gusset to hold in the mess!  Although I have a toddler this would be a nice plus for messy newborn poops.

-Two openings for the pocket for easier stuffing and easier cleaning.

-The inside of the diaper itself is made from NEW SlimDry fabric and its super soft and thin I have no other diaper like this!

-The diapers have a snap in insert to which you may double for extra protection.

-Two waterproof flaps for doubled protection at the openings

-Two rows of side snaps to prevent "wing droop"

What sets Glow Bug apart from other diaper companies is the packages that they offer.  The price is affordable because of the packages.  The very cute patterns are set and change annually

For $150.00 you can get either a girl, boy or gender neutral diaper package that contains 12 diapers, 18 inserts, and a wet bag.  That is $12.50 per diaper not including the wet bag and extra inserts.  A pretty sweet deal if you ask me!

There is also a 6-pack white booster package where you also get a wet bag and 8 snap in inserts for $70.00 (around $12 a piece).  They offer this to supplement the bigger package or if you just wanted to try them out and didn't want the whole 12 at one time.

The only draw back from only offering the packages is you can't choose the prints that you want except for girl, boy and gender neutral.  But again, that is how they keep the cost down.

Overall, I am really enjoying this diaper!  It is very absorbent even with just one insert.  I love the super thin SlimDry fabric.

You may purchase Glow Bug diapers straight from their website and you can also search for a local store to see them in person!  I was excited when I saw that there is a mom not too far from me that sells them!

You can connect with Glow Bug diapers on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

Now for the very best part!  Glow Bug Cloth Diapers has offered one of my awesome readers a opportunity to win one of their diapers valued at $12.50 in their choice of boy, girl or gender neutral print!

I received the product mentioned in exchange for my honest opinion.  All opinions expressed are 100% my own and yours may differ from mine.
