Woolzies Dryer Balls Review and Giveaway

*For this review purpose I received a pack of dryer balls free from a giveaway that I won.  All opinions are my own and Woolzies decided to offer a giveaway along with my review.  Your opinion may be different than mine. *

I would like to tell you about Woolzies Dryer Balls if you have not heard of them yet or haven't tried them.  The basic principal behind the dryer ball is to replace the toxic dryer sheets you are using.  In case you haven't heard before they are not good for you.

I encourage you to rate your softener products you are using here on the!  Most that I just did a random search for were rated D and F!

Woolzies Dryer Balls are made by hand in Nepal with New Zealand wool.  I specifically love this because I have several friends that are from Nepal and I love that they are supported with a company such as this!

They offer two sizes currently.  One box of 3 XL balls are 19.99 for a small load of laundry and a box of 6 XL Balls are 39.99.  They last 1000 washes (not that I can even try to keep a count of how many washes I do?!)  But the cost doesn't compare to your heath and the health of your families!

Benefits of using Woolzies:

-Dry time is cut by 25%

-No harsh chemicals going into your clothing and eventually on your skin!

-They last at least 1000 washes

My thoughts:  I can definitely tell my dry time is cut especially with my cloth microfiber inserts.  We have very humid summers so my diapers can hang out all day and still be wet in the afternoon.  By throwing them in the dryer a little less than an hour with the dryer balls in they are dry faster.  Before we had the woolzies it would take two dryer cycles.

When I am getting clothes out of the dryer I just make sure to shake my clothes out and leave the Woolzies in the dryer for the next day/load that way they do not get dirty or misplaced.  My clothes definitely are much softer when I use the balls.  You may even put essential oils onto the Woolzies for added natural scent.

Overall, I am really liking using the dryer balls and will never go back to the chemical softeners.

Woolzies Dryer Balls are available at local stores such as Walgreens, Bed Bath & Beyond, HomeGoods, and  You can also order online from their website.
