Ruby Moon Cloth Diaper Detergent Review {and Giveaway}

I received a product for review and this is my personal opinion.

I don't know about you fellow cloth diaper followers but I am always trying different detergents!  When I had the chance to review and do a giveaway for you all for Ruby Moon Cloth Diaper Detergent I said yes!

When I got it in the mail I couldn't wait to wash diapers!  I was sent the Cranberry-Pomegranate scent and it smells amazing!

Once I went on the Ruby Moon site I quickly realized that they have monthly scents and so they are always introducing new scents!  They also have Unscented and a few other choices.  The prices are very reasonable and vary from 12.95-15.90 and more options for month club subscriptions.

Just a little about the Cloth Diaper Detergent from their website:

Our cloth diaper safe detergent was crafted especially for delicate skin and keeping your diapers tremendously clean. Our zero build up formula never leaves a residue on your diapers and can eliminate your need to strip your diapers and hassle with a complicated wash routine! Ruby Moon Cloth Diaper Detergent is • All Natural • Vegan/Cruelty Free • Biodegradable and Good for the Environment • Works in all water types • Phosphate, Enzyme, Optical Brightener, Fabric Softener and Soap free Each bag contains enough cloth diaper detergent for 45 loads of diapers in a top loader and 90 loads in a HE washer. No other cloth diaper safe detergent will leave your diapers this fresh and odor free so easily!

The ingredients in the Cloth Diaper Detergent:
 Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Percarbonate, Fragrance ( if scented)

Ruby Moon is a family company that started out by a mom just loving her cloth diapers and wanting a detergent that she could get without spending a lot of money and knowing what goes into her detergent!  I love the idea and how the company started.  They also offer Laundry Detergent which has two more ingredients that include soap and sodium borate.

My Review:

I have used it a few washes now and since it has been nice and sunny I have sunned my diapers!  So far they are smelling great (as I normally don't use scented) and seem to really get the diapers clean.

I have been putting oxy powder (not oxy-clean) in my diaper wash for a while now but not putting it with this detergent seems to be working just fine.  Little girl is just using diapers for nap and night so our wash has been at least three days.

You can connect and purchase Ruby Moon Cloth Diaper Detergent on their website, Facebook, and Twitter.

As I mentioned earlier Ruby Moon is giving a bag of their Cloth Diaper Detergent away to one reader!

To enter simply fill out the Giveaway Tools form below and the only mandatory option is liking their Facebook Page after that enter as many items as you would like.  This is open to US readers 18 and older.  The winner will be chosen and emailed and will have 48 hours to respond or another winner will be drawn.

Thank you for entering and again, I received a product for review and this is my opinion.

  1. I currently use tide powder after spending tons on rng and bg, only to find they didn't work for us. I would love to try a new homemade one specific for diapers again!
